Q: Does this require refrigeration? What happens if I don’t refrigerate it?
A: The rate at which acidophilus will lose potency varies from product to product. Viability depends on a number of variables including the number of organisms at time of manufacture, processing and storage conditions and intrinsic properties of the strains contained in the supplement. The best way to guarantee the potency of acidophilus is to keep it refrigerated. (However this does not pertain to the gummies as the gummies do not need to be refrigerated)
